The House Judiciary Committee will hold a markup on H.R. 2377 the “Federal Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2021” on Wednesday, October 27th at 10:00am.

An antigun extremist is running for Nassau County Legislature District 6:
“[Laura] Burns, 52, of Rockville Centre, writes young adult novels. She lost the 2019 bid for the seat. She is also on the Working Families and Common Sense party lines. She helped establish one of the nation’s largest gun violence prevention groups, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, after the Sandy Hook school massacre …”
Her campaign website describes her as, “She’s a mother, writer, and advocate for gun violence prevention.”
The incumbent C. William Gaylor is running for re-election. Vote for him no matter what he’s done.
The Gotham Gazette reports on the candidates running for Manhattan District Attorney.

This is all you need to know about the Nassau County District Attorney’s race.

Vote for Anne Donnelly regardless of her position on 2A.
