Democrats wants answers

Democrats just sent out a press release ahead of today’s Republican party convention where they demand answers to five questions.

Question #3:

Do New York Republicans agree with commonsense gun safety laws such as federal legislation mandating background checks and mental health screenings which, according to experts, would create safer communities?

If Republicans were smart (they’re not) they would tell the Dems to pound dirt and counter-attack on any number of issues voters really care about.

Bills signed by the Governor

The following bills have been signed by the Governor today:

  • S-7736, Amends the “Scott J. Beigel Unfinished Receiver Act” relating to unserialized frames or receivers.
  • S-7760, Requires the Division of Criminal Justice Services to publish quarterly reports providing information related to firearms, rifles and shotguns used in the commission of crimes in the state of New York.
  • S-7796, Amends the definition of a “disguised gun” to include any firearms designed and intended to appear to be a toy gun.

NRA members vote for Frank Tait

I encourage all eligible NRA members to cast a single ballot this election for Frank Tait.

He is the only independent candidate running for the Board and the only one not a part of the establishment who are responsible for putting the Association into a position where it could be put out of business by Tish James.

Westchester residents call Latimer & Friends

Westchester residents need to call Latimer and their state reps. to block state legislation allowing the country to raise pistol license fees. One person is pushing for it, Captain Frank Donovan in the pistol licensing department.

Especially call Abinanti. He will be in a primary in June.

Abinanti in trouble

Assemblyman Tom Abinanti is in trouble back home as the party is backing a primary challenger to him.

He is no friend of 2A rights and proudly highlights he was a “2020 Gun Sense Candidate by Moms Demand Action.”

His opponent Maryjane Shimsky isn’t our friend either, but when in doubt, vote the incumbent out.
