“Ghost guns” bills A-613A and A-2666A have been Reported and sent to Rules.
Both bills are out of sync with S-13 and S-14 which passed the Senate earlier in the year. An ArfCommer got some of the wording changed.

Pistol brace legislation coming
Senator Anna Kaplan will soon introduce legislation prohibiting pistol stabilizing braces. No details yet. Probably something along the lines of what ATF was thinking about.

NYC Council District 5 primary recommendation
Getting involved with NYC elections isn’t hard for 2A activists. It really just requires making a decision as to which is the “best” candidate to vote for in any given race. That often means choosing the least-worse candidate, but it doesn’t matter. Elections are a choice, not a referendum on the issue.
In the June 22 Democrat primary for Council District 5 the choice is simple: Vote for anyone but Kim Moscaritolo. According to her bio: She spent two years as the Legislative Committee Chair of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, lobbying elected officials in Albany and fighting for gun safety throughout the state.
That is totally unacceptable. There are 7 candidates running in that race and with low turnout anyone can win. 2A victory shall be defined as Moscaritolo losing.

The NRA’s bankruptcy filing has been dismissed by the Texas judge who agreed with AG Tish James that NRA is using this bankruptcy case to address a regulatory enforcement problem, not a financial one.
