Joe Biden has decided to end his political career by embarrassing Democrats and highlighting gun control as a total fraud by issuing a sweeping pardon to his son Hunter:
“… The announcement was made by the White House on Sunday night. The pardon applies to offenses against the U.S. that Hunter Biden “has committed or may have committed” from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 1, 2024. “Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter,” Biden wrote in a statement. “From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted … Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form,” Biden added …”
GOA calls out the lie:
As a bonus, one of Congressman Joe Morelle’s staff was arrested for carrying magazines and ammo into the House:
“… According to Capitol Police, 38-year-old Michael Hopkins went into the Cannon House Office Building in Washington D.C. and put his bag through the x-ray screening. Officers said that was when they noticed ammunition in the x-ray screen. Investigators said they searched the bag and found four ammunition magazines and eleven rounds. Hopkins allegedly said he forgot the ammo was in the bag. Hopkins was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of ammunition, including one charge for possession of a high-capacity magazine …”
It is important to remember that one of Joe Morelle’s first acts as NYS Assembly Majority Leader back in January 2013 was to help rush the so-called SAFE Act through with no hearings or testimony.
Gun control advocates and supporters will, of course, ignore all this and continue to push their agenda.
