Perhaps Sen. Adams should consider sponsoring a NYC secession bill instead of this one. It could be a win-win for both sides of the 2A issue.
Benefits to NYC: No longer hamstrung by the NYS legislature they could pass as many anti 2A bills as the U.S Supreme Ct will allow.
Benefits to NYS: No longer tied to the anti 2A agenda of NYC
politicos, NYS residents could begin to enjoy freedoms more in line with those enjoyed by the residents of other states.
