It would appear that some antis in the Assembly are hoping to put pistol license confidentiality on the table in exchange for sweeping new gun control laws.
They tried that before with renewable pistol licenses. No deal.

My confidentiality in exchange for new laws? Tell the rapists to go to hell, and if they don’t want to go, I’ll be glad to assist them, as forcefully as necessary.
By, God! They rape our privacy, and then have the audacity to demand our freedom in return. They shall have neither, only the savage pains of hell for their demands. Give it to them! On! Put up resistance! Give them the hell that they demand of us, and give it to them now! Let them bleed, as they would have us bleed in their stead!
I would break their new laws with John Henry’s sledgehammer before I would give one ounce of the freedom that is left to me.

Wasn’t the NYS assault weapons ban that we already have now a deal? Republican governor and all. Now they are coming back because they want more?!?
There is no end to the anti-gun agenda. Not even when all guns are banned. Then it would be knives next.
