It doesn’t look as if the Senate GOP and IDC have come to any agreement regarding microstamping or other gun legislation.

Oh, my! What if all the crooks in Crooklyn line up to have their guns microstamped? It could put the police out of business! The entire NYPD on unemployment? Every cop in New York City out of a job? It could happen! Really, it could!
On the other hand, maybe it’s just another effort to sell the public on some jive BS that turns out to be as useful as COBIS turned out to be, which was not useful at all, not even a little bit.
