Paul Ryan’s pro-gun credentials are making the rounds in the media.

I agree with this. What I find interesting, though, is that I have not seen the antis attacking Ryan yet. Considering how much blood-dancing they’ve been doing lately I would have assumed they’d jump on him right from the start.
The anti’s brains have melted! They’ve got gray soup sloshing around in their heads right now! They believed that they had a win/win locked up between anti-gun Obama and AWB signing Romney, but suddenly they don’t. However, their melted brains will eventually recongeal somewhat, and they’ll recuperate from their meltdown enough to resume babbling amongst themselves, though when they do go public, they will likely be more shrill than usual due to the traumatic experience of not getting their way.
The NRA, and everybody who identifies with the NRA, now has a champion to help get out the vote. I imagine that Wayne LaPierre has been grinning from ear to ear since the Ryan announcement. I know I have!
