The Assembly “yellow book” analysis of the Governor’s proposed budget has been posted. It is interesting that it assumes repealing CoBIS would give only a $200,000 savings.

Our Marxist/warrior/hero/criminals and their community supporters wouldn’t like that. They might be disinclined to vote for my Commiecrat compadres in the New York State Legislature.”
It doesn’t say that repealing COBIS will only result in $200k savings – or at least, the quoted passage doesn’t. It says that $200k FROM the savings associated with repealing COBIS will be used for NIBIN. The quoted passages don’t say exactly how much will be saved.
