According to the NY Sun, the state Republican Party is planning a legal challenge to Hochul’s Law.
The same people who gave us Gov. Pataki’s 5-Point Plan in 2000 and Gov. Cuomo’s SAFE Act in 2013 and who as recently as 2018 put an openly antigun candidate,Julie Killian, up as their nominee for Lt. Governor, now want us to believe they will fight for 2A rights.
This is an election year stunt, nothing more. They alienated so many people being little more than Democrat-Lite. Party enrollment among registered voters is around ~22%.
Let us hope they don’t hire the law firm of Dewey, Cheatem & Howe to handle this case.
