Primary for Gianaris

The City reports:

State Sen. Michael Gianaris’ vocal opposition to scuttling Amazon’s New York headquarters has put a target on his back: He faces a likely primary challenge for the first time since being elected to the State Senate in 2010. Justin Potter, a newcomer to politics and to the Democratic Party, has registered a campaign committee and says he’s exploring a run to dislodge Gianaris, who has held the seat since 2011 …”

I have no idea what Potter’s position on the issues are, but it doesn’t matter. Democrats outnumber Republicans in SD-12 by better than 7 to 1. The only way to knock Gianaris is in a primary where turnout is very low. 2A advocates should support Potter in order to stick it to Gianaris.
