Republicans need to recognize fake astroturf stunts like this and counter-attack when confronted by them. The surest way to do that is make it clear you do not take the protestors or their issue seriously and laugh at them. Nothing upsets antigunners and “progressives” than being laughed at.
Trump is now making noises about “doing something” along w (surprisingly) Fox news and other Republican CONSERVATIVE Politicians. Trouble is that we ONLY LOOSE GROUND and there is never any NEGOTIATION like reciprocity or 2A guarantee or strict scrutiny requierement…. for increased background checks. Other problem is that the Bolsheviks are hysterical since Trump and everyone is scared of them.
I don’t think we have anything to worry about at the federal level.
