The Left is losing their collective minds over the nomination and pretty much everything else Trump has done thus far. I have some concerns here. He is quoted as saying “the second amendment is an individual right and may not be infringed lightly”. That is a bit different than the operative clause of 2A “shall not be infringed.” PERIOD at the end. There is no “lightly” in there, and I fear the “lightly” implying an openness to balancing. Also, he did rule with the majority in the 10th in a case where an officer observing one in possession of a gun effectively removes the subject’s 4th amendment right. Neither of these are telling, but they do cause concern, at least for me. There were, I believe, better choices.

Sad that the worst most lasting damage that Obama did was packing the courts with his idealogical frauds. I wailed about this in my local paper 2+ years ago, and tried explaining it to friends…. their eyes just glaze over. We now see it again with regard to President Trump’s EO. It is now being discussed by numerous legal scholars on Fox, and others. The rulings are politically partisan, based on NO LEGAL FOUNDATION, and completely abandon the rule of law. If they had ANY level of integrity, they would be ashamed of themselves, but no. That POS Ginsberg actually states openly her strategy for advancing the left agenda. This is the tragedy that the millions seem to be intellectually incapable of appreciating.
And the fact that the first judge that ruled against Pres Trump was a Bush appointee also confirms the need to be absolutely shure that the nominee is a SOLID constructionist. The first judge may also have ruled against President Trump just cause, knowing haw the 9th circuit would rule, he did not want to be reversed by the appeals court. Terrible.
