Update on the Brady’s pledge drive. The results are in and are even better than expected (for our side.) According to this article:
“… Colin Goddard … told MSNBC that every Congressperson they spoke to told them they supported the pledge — but none, not one, no Democrat, no Republican, would actually sign it …”

The antis need to take this failure personally because this shows a strong personal dislike of the issue by members of Congress. There are lots of reps. in safe districts who could get away with signing their pledge and not have to worry about any ramifications at election time. That they could not get even one of them to do so really shows how toxic the antigunners have become.
You have to be a complete idiot if your against private gun ownership, besides that fact that your UNAMERICAN! If you don’t think people should have the right to carry, let alone own a firearm then you must wan’t to not be safe or have a means to protect yourself and your family. Even if the U.S. succeeded in taking away firearms from law abiding citizens, you’ll never, EVER, get them off of the criminals completely. If you think that it is possible, I ask you to try; if you are so stupid. People need to wake up to reality and realize we are our own protectors. If you aren’t willing to protect yourself or an innocent by stander near you, then you have no intentions of surviving much less assisting another in survival. The Anti-Gun crowd needs to get real, they’ll never have control of anything worth having control over as long as their current attitude and disrespect for life in general, persists.
Reason this failed is simple. People, even people who don’t like guns or even gun owners have come to the reality that gun control laws/restrictions do now work. They can look at cities who have crazy gun laws like DC, NY, Chicago and make an obvious determination.
Also, the idea in and of itself is kinda hokie. Create so many gun laws that even a person who is not interested in the subject can read and say “How could anyone even get a gun to commit a crime…and why do they still get them? Its not long before they realize the thing we have known for a long time…….because they don’t work and only the law abiding will obey the laws.
Great example of where the public is on this issue….check out some of these anti gun groups…visit their Facebook pages, which have been up for years. Seriously, I think the highest “Likes” that I saw was something like 4k…..lol. My Dog’s Facebook pages has more than that!!!!…mauahahaha
Now wait just a minute Bryan. The government has proven that they can completely remove things from the hands of criminals, and make the streets safe and clean, simply by outlawing that undesirable thing. Take heroine for example. . . oh. . . wait. . . never mind.
I am confidant that the majority their “likes” are fellow gunnies who follow them just to keep up on what they’re doing.
