As a follow up to my early post that pistol license applications are backlogged up due to state budget cuts, some local officials have gotten involved including the Orange Co. Sheriff and Niagara Co. Clerk.

Imagine that. I just took me 3 weeks just to get an amendment in Dutchess. A friend just called to make an appointment to submit his paperwork for he and his wife. They gave him Jan. 17th 2012. Over an 8 month wait JUST TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION! I told him to get on the horn with Saland/Miller.
I’m sure that MAIG will complain about this abusive treatment of people who are seeking to own their guns legally. After all, MAIG is only against “illegal” guns, right?
Mayor Bloomberg says that he supports the Second Amendment, so this outrageous injustice against law-abiding citizens will certainly draw his condemnation, right?
Bloomberg and MAIG aren’t frauds are they? They aren’t scamming the public with the fraudulent ruse that they’re only against “illegal” guns while actually aiming at legal guns, are they?
