“pistol permit privacy”
That’s a laughable oxymoron.
The state collects your private information, thus converting it to public information – where is the privacy in that?
Your name, address, phone number, date of birth, social security number, photograph and fingerprints, together with the make, model, serial number and caliber of your guns are all gathered together by the state of New York – just as thoroughly as if we were living in East Germany.
Then there’s talk of keeping all that information “private”.
That is one of the worst jokes I have ever heard in my life!
