Something is up with Eric Schneiderman. The A.G.’s office has been contacting county clerks around the state for information on pistol licenses: how many have been issued, what sort of restrictions are placed on them, etc.

i think schneiderman is just sniffing for info- i can’t see anything he can change from his position- almost all those things would have to come from the legislature which as more than enough issures on hand
He can always issue an official opinion that the local judges would probably follow.
Schneiderman should be looking to prosecute the state’s overly numerous criminals instead of looking to persecute the state’s most law-abiding citizens, New York State pistol license holders.
Gun control snake oil may sell in New York, but most of the rest of the country can’t stand the stench of it, nor can those of us who are ready to move out of this stinking state.
