Former DEC chief Pete Grannis has got a new gig with Environmental Advocates of New York, an eco lobby group.
There was much rejoicing by gunnies and most, but not all, hunters when he was fired as he was not our friend. During his time in the Assembly Grannis voted in favor of just about all gun control proposals which came down the pike and was prime sponsor of legislation to ban all hunting as cruelty to animals.
While EANY is not an antigun or anti-hunting organization, this bears watching to see if they start taking a position on guns and/or hunting, especially lead ammo bans and gun club operations (noise and lead issues).
