Councilwoman arrested on gun charge

NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov made news recently when she obtained her pistol license.

Vernikov, who is Jewish, was spotted openly carrying a pistol outside a pro-Hamas rally and has since turned herself in to police.

This is the most pro-gun display I can ever recall seeing from an elected official in the state and while I think it is a step forward, it is still lacking.
