News of the day

Candidate ratings are now online at the PVF website.  David Forsythe is pleased with his endorsement.

NRA has not yet posted theirs for New York yet, but some have been notified of their grades.  Kirsten Gillibrand received an F and Paul Helmke says she should be proud of it.  Given that Real Clear Politics has downgraded her seat from Likely Democrat to Lean Democrat I’m thinking she’s not.

Gun rights in the CD-23 race, Bill Owens v. Matt Doheny:

“… Doheny is pleased the U.S. Supreme Court in McDonald v. City of Chicago extended the right to gun ownership to all citizens, reversing strict gun control laws. Owens feels a national standard for carrying concealed firearms is needed and that gun owners should be protected in bankruptcy procedures …”

  1. Are Republicans making a serious effort for either US Senate seat from NY? Who are they running?

  2. Gillibrand an “F”? It bestows too much dignity on Charlie Schumer’s hand puppet. Maybe make it a lower case “f”, with the upper case “F” reserved for real people.

  3. At one point Gillibrand had an “A” rating from NRA. Now that she is Chuck U. Schumers poo-girl she has fallen to an “F”. It’s amazing to see how a few short months in Albany can turn someone inside out on pivotal issues. After Shelly Silver and Chuck U. and Bloomturd had their way with her she is acting like the true political submissive she was destined to be. however, at least Mr. Gillibrand has less skin to embrace in the sack. Kirsten is looking thinner these days and thin is always a good thing when coupled with blonde. At first I thought the aspect ratio of my TV was “off” but after a few different angles I can see that KG dropped the stress fat. I wonder if letting other people do my thinking will help me lose weight. I should run for political office to find out.

  4. I hope at least one of the illustrious senators from the formerly great state of NY gets their walking papers.
