Pre-filed legislation begins to appear

The following bills have been re-introduced for the 2021-22 legislative session which begins on January 6.

Assembly Codes:

  • A-352, Relates to the unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest.
  • A-353, Relates to the unlawful wearing of a body vest.
  • A-383, Adds ammunition to the list of prohibited items to purchase or dispose of after certain convictions.
  • A-412, Establishes the offense of unlawful possession of firearms by persons under twenty-one.
  • A-483, Relates to the criminal possession of a firearm or magazine digitally made.

Senate Codes:

  • S-13, Enacts the “Scott J. Beigel Unfinished Receiver Act” in relation to unfinished frames or receivers.
  • S-14, Enacts the “Jose Webster Untraceable Firearms Act.”
  • S-50, Relates to manufacturers’ reporting the sale or distribution of firearms.
  • S-65, Restricts the sale of ammunition to only individuals authorized to possess such weapon.

Senate Consumer Protection:

  • S-51, Includes attachments to electronic devices within the meaning of the term “imitation weapon.”
