Farkas reiterates support for gun control

With the Democrat primary in CD-17 heating up, Evelyn Farkas reiterates her support for gun control in this article:

“Evelyn Farkas, Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Obama, has been endorsed by U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla) and the group she chairs, Elect Democratic Women, to succeed Rep. Nita Lowey to represent New York’s 17th Congressional District. The group was founded by seven sitting members of Congress to confront the gender gap in congressional representation … “Having spent my career in traditionally male-dominated spaces in government and working to promote women into positions of leadership, I know firsthand the necessity of elevating the voices of women where they are underrepresented,” Farkas said. “I am so proud to have the endorsement of Rep. Frankel and Elect Democratic Women. Together, I know that we can make the 117th Congress the one that … finally passes the common-sense gun reforms Americans demand.” …”

Nobody is demanding anything. She’s just pandering to the fringe.
