Senator John Flanagan has called for a Republican leadership vote this week.
It is my understanding that Senators Fred Akshar, Joe Griffo, Pat Gallivan and Jim Seward are all backing him, but if one or more folds, Flanagan is done.

What a joke. What the fuck is the difference?
An aggressive minority leader with an opposition agenda could rally some Democrats to their cause. Same with the Assembly. The key is it requires people with real leadership skills, which Flanagan is lacking. Heck, Cuomo turned him into a drunk.
