The GOP has nominated Staten Island D.A. Dan Donovan to be their candidate for state attorney general. That means at least two of three top ticket races have antigun candidates from both sides. Don’t know about Harry Wilson yet.

This shows you how out of touch the state GOP is, and by extension county committees. From my experience, attitudes towards guns have changed greatly in upstate NY in the last decade. Just look at at the increase in pistol permits since 9/11! It’s not just Obama. It’s a series of things. At my local range I have seen more new members in the last six months than in the previous three years. I don’t mean to say people should be one issue voters, but they should at least have a choice.
