Down in flames

All four gun control proposals were rejected by the Senate mostly on party line votes.

Let the whining and hysterics begin.

  1. Background checks? Mateen had a ten month FBI investigation, after being reported to the FBI by law enforcement. They saw something, they said something, and nothing happened because Obama.
We don’t need to change our Bill of Rights, we need to change our president.

  2. See but here is the profound difference. If the issue were being advocated in the reverse, the dems would never have said OK, we’ll give you a vote. Schumer, Reid, et al, would have been shouting at the top of their voice that we will NEVER compromise the rights of the American people, we will not violate the constitutional mandate of due process……….. THEY WOULD HAVE STOOD, FOUGHT, AND THROWN EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAD AT THE ENEMY WITH NO COMPROMISE AT ALL. NOT THIS BULLSHIT!
And BTW, that’s why Donald Trump.

  3. I would point out that the standard background check, for NICS, is an “instant check” system. NICS means, per the FBI web page, “National Instant Criminal Background Check System”.
A 10 month FBI investigation, vs. an “instant check”? A ridiculously lopsided comparison. Who dropped the ball, but more importantly, why?
Why? Political correctness. A president who, even after Orlando, remains more worried about perceived slights against Muslims than he is about American lives, even though some of those American lives are also Muslim lives.
Barack Obama suffers from the same problem as did Adolph Hitler. Hitler valued his Nazi ideology over tactics. Obama has that same hubris.
