This should come as no surprise. As I said and will say again and again. NY is lost. Maybe in 10 or 20 yrs the demographics will change but as long as NYC is attached like a tumor, it’s pointless to say the least. Oh there will not be any stopping of Cuomo, unless a miracle happens that, he will still be around and possibly a 3rd term. This is like Hillary who regardless of every article that say she is finished becuase the FBI is ready to move in, is BS. Steve is 100% right, and I go further. The whole country is fucked. The history of how we got here is a very long dissertation, but authoritarian collectivist America is here big time now. 2A was finished even before poor Justice Scalia’s tragic death. The lower courts are packed with their cronies, and have almost consistently acted in open defiance of Heller (the 4th will reverse Traxler’s ruling en banc). SCOTUS was gone even while Scalia was alive. Highland Park was a seminal moment at SCOTUS (which I believe we all knew). Roberts went to the dark side, and Kennedy was always shaky. There will not be an in kind replacement for Justice Scalia. I believe that Heller will be reversed, and not just in NY, but America’s firearms laws will look like England. After 8 years of Hillary, this place will be absolutely unrecognizable, many terrible things will happen beyond guns, and it aint coming back any time soon.
