Putting aside all other personal beefs I have with The Donald, there is one underlying problem that cannot be ignored.
That is, there has not been a single poll showing he can beat Hillary Clinton in the general election. I have yet to see either the candidate himself or any of his supporters say how they plan to address this issue. It will not just go away on its own.
I listened to the rhetoric this morning and couldn’t believe it. The GOP campaign has deteriorated to a junior high school rank out fight. (I’m just waiting to hear “your mother”). A new low. We are witnessing the total collapse of the GOP at the hands of one man. I still believe that this was a diabolical strategy by the Clintons. And how well it worked! Many pundits are now saying that this is so bad that it will take out the house and the senate on its coat tails. I fully agree. I believe this to be past the point of no return. This is our 9/11. (Yes, I do see it as that terrible). I am sick over it.
I experienced it yesterday when I went to the gun shop for a couple of cans of CLP. All enthusiastic Trump supporters. One of them implying that a President Trump will come to NY, and repeal Unsafe! I was not going to try and give a civics lesson, which sadly, would probably have been, at best, a waste of time. Just kept my mouth shut, bought the CLP, looked at some toys and went home. Its absolutely hopeless.
