It just might work

If only the antis had more than astroturf:

Manhattan State Senator Liz Krueger today laid out a novel strategy to undermine opposition to new restrictions on firearms—having gun control supporters join the pro-gun National Rifle Association and act as a Trojan horse … “I might propose another cultural approach: all of us who actually care about gun violence might want to join the NRA, and create our own forum within the NRA to say ‘we don’t agree with their current policy,’” she said … “I actually think we outnumber them, by the way. And if, maybe if we all join, and created our own platform, we could switch the dialogue, even within an organization who I think has done so much harm,” she said …”

Krueger has never expressed any interest in having a dialogue about New York’s gun laws during her time in Albany.

Soon after she was first elected, she hooked up with then Senator Eric Schneiderman and I always had the impression she was jonesing for a leadership position.  Reading this article reminded me that she is not bright enough for that.

  1. This is exactly how they destroyed this country over the last some 100 years. They burrowed into everything. Education, the courts, the media………. That is how a fifth column works. Joe McCarthy knew this, he was right, and they went after him with the full force of the media and destroyed him. They got the Vatican! OK? They do it slowly and insidiously, little by little, until by deceit, deception, lies, subversion……. they get control. I would take this seriously. They could vote in their own board, and we wake up one morning, go to NRA-ILA and cannot believe our eyes. I grew up in a family full of them. I know. There is no depth to which these digusting people will not sink. Trust me.

  2. Dishonesty is their only hope? German infiltrators, disguised as U.S. G.I.s at the end of WWII, thought so too. It’s the tactic of failures, then, as now.
I believe in my gun. It works, it can protect me. I weep at the prospect of gun control. The disarmament of good men, for the benefit of evil men, is a disgusting thing. It’s the norm in New York City.
