  1. Once again, they acknowledge firearms in “common use” are implicated by 2A. BUT, they apply “interest balancing” / intermediate scrutiny / “compelling interest of public safety” (right – a fucking bayonet lug – LOL!). Interest balancing is the worst of the commie dirty tricks. It enables commie judges to circumvent the constitution with impunity. It is a “transformation” from rule of law to rule by man. Nowhere was this power conferred upon the court except by a bunch of commie justices that conferred it upon themselves. It’s a total fraud. They site “fighting words” so the 1st amend. is balanced against political correctness. Where in the constitution are rights conferred upon Marxist “classes” that must be remedied by individuals being denied (“burdened”) 14th amend rights to achieve a demographic result?

  2. Spot on Jacob! Especially with the timing. No doubt about the agenda here. And what is particularly agregious is the underhanded way that they are applying their bias under the thin veil of impartial officers of the court searching for justice. This is their Amicus in favor of NYS. How despicable!

  3. Their central argument is that all the lower courts have upheld all the anti laws and how can they all be wrong. Their “safe harbor” in Heller is that it be interpreted in the most narrow scope as protecting the possession of a revolver (not a semi auto) in the home with like 3 licenses required and having no more than six bullets posessed in the home………. And have no doubt they fully intend to overturn Heller down the road.

  4. The right to keep and bear arms is still intact to some extent, given that tomahawks and scalping knives remain unregulated. Our traditional American means of redress are still plentifully available to us, should we choose to use them.

“I’ve labored long and hard for bread,
    For honor, and for riches,
But on my corns too long you’ve tread,
    You fine-haired sons of bitches.”

  5. BTW As for the “New York State Bar Association”, I value them in such low esteem, that in my estimation, they are not worth the urine it would take to piss on them. No lawyer worthy of his salt would be a part of them, and there are many lawyers, even in this degraded state of New York, who are most definitely worth their salt. I have a great deal of respect for lawyers, but none for this despicable, sell out organization.
