Final primary polling

Final Sienna College poll for Tuesday’s primaries.  They used a small sample, but it basically shows both races are too close to call:

Rick Lazio 43% v. Carl Paladino 42%

Eric Schneiderman 25% v. Kathleen Rice 23% v. Sean Coffey 13% v. Richard Brodsky 7% v. Eric Dinallo 4%

  1. Like your thoughts on the McCarthy seat down here on Long Island.

    Spoke to the Scaturro campaign. Asked if he was pro 2A. Got an answer that he is a constitutional lawyer. Hmmm so is BHO. Asked if he has written anything on 2A. No. Is he a member of NRA or NYSRPA. No. Asked why he helped write Arlen Spector’s book. Cause they worked together. Hmmm….Asked if any pro gun/gunclubs/outdoor groups have endorsed him. No. Hmmm….

    At this point I don’t see a reason to vote for this guy. Other than to get rid of the old hag why should I vote for him? I am getting the vibe that he is just another hack RINO looking to get on the public dole.

  2. I’m not aware of any statements he has made on gun issues. I don’t think you’ll get him to take a public position either as McCarthy owns the issue and she would jump on him not matter what he said. Basically it comes down to anyone is preferable to McCarthy.

  3. Except for a very small minority 2A is a non issue in Nassau Co.
    That place is only about money. The chance of getting a true pro 2A candidate there is less than miniscule.

    Therefore I’d rather see McCarthy re-elected than someone who is competent.

  4. what in the world is mccarhty competent at???? time for her to go — for many reasons…. i live in her district and will vote against her — who ever runs against her… enough is enough……

    The point is that it’s highly unlikely to get a pro 2A candidate in that district. Therefore we’re better off with an incompetent than another anti who might get the job done.

    That being said I wouldn’t shed any tears if she lost the election.
    I doubt that will happen though.

    I see ur point. But no one can be as bad as her. This is her mission. If she goes the other politicians will see that it got her nowhere and only pay the libtards lip service…..
