Kasich’s leadership team

I knew Al D’Amato was involved with John Kasich’s campaign. State of Politics lists him as being a part of Kasich’s New York leadership team.

If that is not reason enough not to vote for him, Kasich has been endorsed by George Pataki as well. Clearly Kasich is making a play for the milk toast vote.

  1. A court has now nullified the statute protecting firearms manufacturers from lawsuits by ruling that an action brought (based on the Newtown tragedy) against the makers of the AR15 can go forward. This not only nullifies a duly legislated federal statute, but one that protects a constitutional right with a recent precedent making clear that it is in fact an (incorporated) individual right as well as clearly defining the AR15 as an arm that is in common use and thus implicated by 2A. If successful, this will effectively outlaw an entire class of protected arms (FEDERALLY) by judicial fiat, or in other words, legislation / public policy from the bench in a new precedent for lawless judicial power grabbing. They defy precedent from superior courts, they defy the legislature, and they defy will of the people.
