Remember when Governor Cuomo<\/a> had visions of himself as a national leader and was going to ride on a wave of gun control into the White House in 2016? \u00a0Those days are long gone<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“… A new Quinnipiac University<\/a> poll of Florida voters was anything but encouraging to Cuomo\u2019s widely described interest in entering the 2016 presidential contest. \u00a0The poll<\/a>, released Friday, not surprisingly found Hillary Rodham Clinton<\/a> the runaway favorite, at 64 percent, among Democrats asked to pick their favorite presidential contender. \u00a0She was followed by\u00a0Vice President Joe Biden<\/a>, a distant second with 9 percent. \u00a0What was surprising was that a \u201cprogressive\u2019\u2019 favorite, freshman Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren<\/a>, placed third, with 5 percent of the tally, and that Cuomo was in a three-way time for fourth, with a mere 1 percent, with Maryland Gov. Martin O\u2019Malley<\/a> and Virginia Sen. Mark Warner<\/a> …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This poll shows the Governor has problems with Democrats, not “extremist”<\/a> Republicans. \u00a0Perhaps his fellow party members have come to realize that Cuomo just doesn’t have what it takes to be President.<\/p>\n
