{"id":9719,"date":"2014-01-28T08:31:28","date_gmt":"2014-01-28T13:31:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=9719"},"modified":"2014-01-28T08:31:28","modified_gmt":"2014-01-28T13:31:28","slug":"safe-support-robocalls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=9719","title":{"rendered":"SAFE support robocalls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is my understanding that someone is doing robocalls in WNY asking if you would be more or less likely to vote for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senator\/ted-obrien\" target=\"_blank\">Senator Ted O&#8217;Brien (D-55)<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senator\/mark-grisanti\" target=\"_blank\">Senator Mark Grisanti (R-60)<\/a> because of their votes supporting the SAFE Act.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to assume it is the incumbents behind the calls.\u00a0 They probably should have looked into this before voting in favor of SAFE.<\/p>\n<p>It does explain <a href=\"http:\/\/www.observertoday.com\/page\/content.detail\/id\/593108\/There-s--bipartisan-support--for---.html\" target=\"_blank\">this canned op-ed<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyagv.org\" target=\"_blank\">New Yorkers Against Gun Violence<\/a> floated to a bunch of area newspapers claiming widespread support for the law.\u00a0 They&#8217;re trying to convince their constituents that they didn&#8217;t really screw them over.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gunpoliticsny.com%2F%3Fp%3D9719&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;
