{"id":8846,"date":"2013-07-31T09:17:09","date_gmt":"2013-07-31T13:17:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=8846"},"modified":"2013-07-31T09:17:09","modified_gmt":"2013-07-31T13:17:09","slug":"what-goes-around-eventually-comes-around","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=8846","title":{"rendered":"What goes around eventually comes around"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A number of years ago the antis were pushing for a statewide mandatory storage law.\u00a0 They started with efforts in counties in the lower Hudson Valley.\u00a0 Fran Knapp led the effort in the Dutchess County Legislature.\u00a0 It failed and eventually the issue died down.\u00a0 Knapp did keep up with antigun initiatives, trying to keep gun shows out of the Mid-Hidson Civic Center, but that issue too went away.\u00a0 Later, she moved on to become Democratic County Elections Commissioner.<\/p>\n<p>So, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midhudsonnews.com\/News\/2013\/July\/31\/Knapp_Gamache_indict-31Jul13.html\" target=\"_blank\">what&#8217;s she been up to lately<\/a>?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230; Knapp was indicted on 46 felonies and 48 misdemeanors.\u00a0 The charges against Knapp stem from allegations that in August 2011 she permitted the names of voter agents for absentee ballots to be changed on the Board of Elections\u2019 computer system without the absentee voter\u2019s permission &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Good.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gunpoliticsny.com%2F%3Fp%3D8846&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;
