{"id":8676,"date":"2013-06-21T06:51:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-21T10:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=8676"},"modified":"2013-06-21T06:51:00","modified_gmt":"2013-06-21T10:51:00","slug":"keep-on-digging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=8676","title":{"rendered":"Keep on digging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Late last night <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.timesunion.com\/capitol\/archives\/189760\/in-overnight-surprise-senate-exempts-retired-cops-from-safe-act\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Senate approved a bill exempting retired police<\/a>\u00a0from certain provisions of the SAFE Act:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;&#8230;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senator\/martin-j-golden\" target=\"_blank\">Republican Sen.
