{"id":7709,"date":"2013-03-11T15:16:52","date_gmt":"2013-03-11T19:16:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=7709"},"modified":"2013-03-11T15:16:52","modified_gmt":"2013-03-11T19:16:52","slug":"more-attacks-upon-safe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=7709","title":{"rendered":"More attacks upon SAFE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More attacks upon the SAFE Act, legislatively and administratively.<\/p>\n<p>First, the legislative attack, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/blogs\/dailypolitics\/2013\/03\/budget-resolution-takes-aim-at-new-yorks-safe-act-updated\" target=\"_blank\">Budget Resolution Takes Aim At New York&#8217;s SAFE Act<\/a>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysenaterepublicans.com\" target=\"_blank\">Senate Republicans<\/a> and their governing partners in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Independent-Democratic-Conference-NY-Senate\/186564838038472\" target=\"_blank\">Independent Democratic Conference<\/a> appear to be targeting New York\u2019s new gun control measure with their one-house budget resolution &#8230; Specifically, the resolution would deny <a href=\"http:\/\/www.governor.ny.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Gov.
