{"id":5807,"date":"2012-03-21T11:25:00","date_gmt":"2012-03-21T15:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=5807"},"modified":"2012-03-21T11:25:00","modified_gmt":"2012-03-21T15:25:00","slug":"meeting-michelle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=5807","title":{"rendered":"Meeting Michelle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had our <a href=\"http:\/\/readme.readmedia.com\/New-Yorkers-rally-for-2nd-Amendment-civil-rights\/3758999\" target=\"_blank\">3rd annual lobby day<\/a> yesterday in the LOB. \u00a0An estimated 2000-2500 people showed up from across the state.<\/p>\n<p>I talked Ginny Simone into visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.assembly.state.ny.us\/mem\/Michelle-Schimel\" target=\"_blank\">Michelle Schimel&#8217;s<\/a> office. \u00a0I told the staffer I had a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nranews.com\" target=\"_blank\">NRA News<\/a> crew and they&#8217;d like to interview Schimel about her microstamping bill. \u00a0Right after I did that about a dozen or so gunnies showed up to complain about it as well. \u00a0That probably convinced her to let us in.<\/p>\n<p>Schimel was really mad.
