It appears that Carolyn McCarthy<\/a> has been right to be worried about CD-4 being redistricted out of existence. \u00a0According to the Daily News<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“… State Senate<\/a> and Assembly<\/a> negotiators are looking at merging McCarthy\u2019s Nassau County district into a Nassau-Queens district now held by fellow Dem <\/em>Gary Ackerman<\/a><\/em>, sources close to the planning said. \u00a0McCarthy\u2019s current district \u201ccollides\u201d with Ackerman\u2019s, making it a perfect candidate for merger, insiders said …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That plus the fact that McCarthy is dumb as toast. \u00a0She’s not a powerbroker. \u00a0She’s nothing more than a single issue shill, and her one issue is becoming increasing unpopular with the public. \u00a0In other words, she’s expendable.<\/p>\n
