{"id":4577,"date":"2011-09-14T09:33:12","date_gmt":"2011-09-14T13:33:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=4577"},"modified":"2011-09-14T09:33:12","modified_gmt":"2011-09-14T13:33:12","slug":"election-aftermath-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=4577","title":{"rendered":"Election aftermath"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are the results from yesterdays&#8217; elections in the few races I&#8217;ve been following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobturnerforcongress.com\" target=\"_blank\">Bob Turner <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/news\/local\/Bob-Turner-Wins-NY-9-9th-Congressional-Race-129777533.html\" target=\"_blank\">humiliated<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.assembly.state.ny.us\/mem\/David-I-Weprin\" target=\"_blank\">David Weprin<\/a>, winning CD-9 54-46% in a district with a huge Democrat enrollment advantage. \u00a0There is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/news\/national\/disaster_looms_for_in_G1cGiO8AMtBl9uwQn0M2TO\" target=\"_blank\">no way<\/a> the Democrats can put a spin on this.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nysrpa-pvf.org\" target=\"_blank\">Endorsed<\/a> candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uticaod.com\/features\/x519373840\/Brindisi-leads-Johnson-with-16-of-votes-in\" target=\"_blank\">Gregory Johnson lost his race<\/a> in AD-116.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lohud.com\/article\/20110914\/NEWS02\/109140352\/Walker-leads-Davis-Young-Mount-Vernon-mayor\" target=\"_blank\">Mount Vernon Mayor Clinton Young lost the Democrat primary<\/a>.
