Former DEC<\/a> chief Pete Grannis<\/a> has got a new gig<\/a> with\u00a0Environmental Advocates of New York<\/a>, an eco lobby group.<\/p>\n

There was much rejoicing<\/a> by gunnies and most, but not all<\/a>, hunters when he was fired<\/a> as he was not our friend. \u00a0During his time in the Assembly<\/a> Grannis voted in favor of just about all gun control proposals which came down the pike and was prime sponsor of legislation to ban all hunting as cruelty to animals.<\/p>\n

While EANY is not an antigun or anti-hunting organization, this bears watching to see if \u00a0they start taking a position on guns and\/or hunting, especially lead ammo bans<\/a> and gun club operations (noise and lead issues).<\/p>\n
