Companion <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/A3233\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A-3233<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/S399\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S-399<\/a><\/strong>, Makes it illegal for certain persons to possess or sell a pistol converter or a converted pistol. Companion <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/A199\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A-199<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/S4277\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S-4277<\/a><\/strong>, Relates to prohibiting the possession of certain .50 caliber firearms. No companion.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/S6121\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S-6121<\/a><\/strong>, Requires the preparation and dissemination of written materials regarding child access prevention and the safe storage of firearms; establishes such information shall be provided to students and\/or persons in a parental relationship to such students at the beginning of each semester or quarter of the regular school year beginning on and after July 1, 2026. Companion <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/A7566\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A-7566<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2025\/S7236\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S-7236<\/a><\/strong>, Prohibits the purchase of ammunition if such purchaser failed a background check, is prohibited by federal law or is subject to a temporary or extreme risk protection order issued pursuant to article sixty-three-A of the civil practice law and rules.
