The latest attack by the antis<\/a> is to pressure credit card companies<\/a> to create a special code for gun stores to use when processing transactions. They claim it will allow law enforcement to identify suspicious transactions. What it really is another attempt<\/a> to get the banking industry to stop doing business with the firearms industry.<\/p>\n

On Monday NYC Comptroller Brad Lander<\/a>, trustees of the NYC Retirement Systems<\/a>, other elected officials and gun control advocates will put on a dog and pony show at 2:00pm on the steps of City Hall<\/a> calling for credit card companies to fully implement this scheme.<\/p>\n
