Everytown<\/a> (Mike Bloomberg<\/a>) has made a couple of endorsements<\/a> for the August 23 primary elections.<\/p>\n

In the open seat CD-3<\/a> Democrat primary they endorsed Melanie D\u2019Arrigo<\/a> who they list as a Moms volunteer<\/a> and who looks like a poster-child Karen<\/a>. While not endorsed, Nassau Co. Legislator John Lafazan<\/a> has made gun control a signature issue of his campaign while one of Robert Zimmerman’s<\/a> top priorities is to “combat gun violence.<\/a>”\u00a0 Jon Kaiman proudly lists himself as a “gunsense candidate<\/a>” and Reema Rasool pledges that, if elected, she “will aim to pass common-sense gun safety laws to keep our schools, places of worship, and communities safe.<\/a>”\u00a0 All the choices stink, but I believe the worst two are D\u2019Arrigo and Lazafan.<\/p>\n

In the SD-21<\/a> Democrat primary they endorsed Kaegan Mays-Williams<\/a> who they also list as a Moms volunteer<\/a>.\u00a0 She is challenging incumbent Kevin Parker<\/a> who is also antigun<\/a> and is a violent thug<\/a>.\u00a0 The third choice is David Alexis<\/a> who “has committed to governing with gun sense as a priority.<\/a>”\u00a0 He is arguably the least offensive only because he has not voted on the issue and has not been endorsed by any gun control group.<\/p>\n
