Andrew Cuomo endorsed Eric Schneiderman<\/a> for Attorney General<\/a>. \u00a0Mayor Bloomberg<\/a>, who is backing Dan Donvan<\/a>, said this about Schneiderman<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“… You always get worried when you have a candidate for attorney general that wants to use that office to enact a social agenda …”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Right. \u00a0But it’s ok for him to do that with MAIG<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Republicans are trying to push Rick Lazio out<\/a> of the Governors race. \u00a0It’s unclear<\/a> if he’s going to go. \u00a0Lazio would have to either accept a judicial nomination, move out of state or drop dead to be removed from the CP<\/a> gubernatorial line.<\/p>\n

It’s also unclear as to who will be Carl Paldino’s<\/a> running mate. \u00a0Greg Edwards<\/a> won the GOP<\/a> and CP primaries for Lt. Governor, but Tom Ognibene<\/a> has that slot on the Taxpayers line, making the GOP ticket Paladino\/Edwards, CP ticket Lazio\/Edwards and Taxpayers ticket Paladino\/Ognibene. \u00a0Edwards has started campaigning as Paladino running mate<\/a>, but I have not heard any formal statement by Paladino’s campaign.<\/p>\n

The NRA endorsed Nan Hayworth<\/a> in CD-19.<\/p>\n

The Brady’s endorsed Carolyn McCarthy<\/a> in CD-4.<\/p>\n

In AD-150, Republican candidate Andrew Goodall<\/a> claims to have the support of local sportmen’s groups as he is in favor of allowing big game rifle hunting in Chautauqua County. \u00a0Meanwhile, Democrat candidate Nancy Bargar<\/a> has set up a “Advisory Committee on Fish and Wildlife issues.”<\/a><\/p>\n
