Extremism Emerging as Campaign Issue<\/a>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;With the string of Tea Party victories in Republican primary elections, &#8220;gun rights&#8221; extremism is emerging as an issue in key races throughout the country &#8230;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.paladinoforthepeople.com\" target=\"_blank\">Carl Paladino<\/a>, the Tea Party-supported Republican candidate for New York Governor, wants to repeal the state&#8217;s assault weapon ban &#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, and he won in no small part <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=2310\">because he was pro-gun<\/a>. \u00a0That little fact is what Henigan leaves out of his whining. \u00a0Being an &#8220;extremist&#8221;
