Bad news out of Westchester<\/a>: The long shot Republican candidate for District Attorney Bruce Bendish<\/a> dropped out of the race.<\/p>\n

This means Mimi Rocah<\/a>, who won the Democrat primary<\/a> over incumbent Anthony Scarpino<\/a>, will walk into office unopposed in January where I predict she will be one of the loudest voices in the state for more gun control:<\/p>\n

I fought with @MomsDemand<\/a> to keep our schools, places of worship, and communities safe from gun violence. As Westchester DA, I'll continue that fight & get the office moving forward to get guns off the streets.<\/p>\n
