{"id":22531,"date":"2020-09-21T07:39:21","date_gmt":"2020-09-21T11:39:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=22531"},"modified":"2020-09-21T07:39:21","modified_gmt":"2020-09-21T11:39:21","slug":"ginsberg-dies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=22531","title":{"rendered":"Ginsberg dies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2020\/09\/18\/100306972\/justice-ruth-bader-ginsburg-champion-of-gender-equality-dies-at-87\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died<\/a> driving the already deranged Left <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RealJamesWoods\/status\/1307384944608423938\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">further into madness<\/a>.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trump<\/a> has said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/amy-coney-barrett-emerges-as-trumps-front-runner-to-fill-ruth-bader-ginsburgs-supreme-court-seat-reports-2020-09-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">he will announce a replacement<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/senatemajldr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mitch McConnell<\/a> said<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/09\/20\/mcconnell-supreme-court-votes-murkowski-alexander-418910\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> the Senate will vote on it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Given who represents New York in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senate.gov\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Senate<\/a> there is no way to convince either of them to vote for an originalist justice.
