{"id":22218,"date":"2020-07-20T13:29:38","date_gmt":"2020-07-20T17:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=22218"},"modified":"2020-07-20T13:37:39","modified_gmt":"2020-07-20T17:37:39","slug":"codes-meeting-farce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=22218","title":{"rendered":"Codes meeting farce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As expected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/committees\/codes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Senate Codes Committee<\/a> moved to advance antigun bills <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2019\/s7762\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>S-7762<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2019\/s7763\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>S-7763<\/strong><\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/committees\/rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rules<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2019\/s7762\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>S-7762<\/strong><\/a> the only discussion was both Senators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senators\/anna-m-kaplan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anna Kaplan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senators\/brian-kavanagh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brian Kavanagh<\/a> thanking people for supporting the bill. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/senators\/zellnor-myrie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Senator Zellnor Myrie<\/a> declared he would support the bill, but asked one question pertaining to disposal.
