{"id":2167,"date":"2010-08-23T10:18:48","date_gmt":"2010-08-23T14:18:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=2167"},"modified":"2010-08-23T10:18:48","modified_gmt":"2010-08-23T14:18:48","slug":"mandatory-storage-under-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=2167","title":{"rendered":"Mandatory storage under review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.westchesterlegislators.com\" target=\"_blank\">Westchester County legislature<\/a> is reviewing whether the <a href=\"files\/Westchester-Mandatory-Storage-Law.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">mandatory storage law<\/a> passed by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andrew_Spano\" target=\"_blank\">Andy Spano<\/a> will hold up now that the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution\" target=\"_blank\">2A<\/a> is incorporated to the states. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lohud.com\/article\/20108230327\" target=\"_blank\">According to the Journal News<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8230; &#8220;We have to consider whether our law is unconstitutional,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.westchesterlegislators.com\/Legislators\/D3\/Bio\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Legislator John Nonna, D-Pleasantville<\/a>, the chairman of the legislation committee. &#8220;We should examine whether our gun-storage law is subject to a constitutional challenge.&#8221;
