{"id":20859,"date":"2019-12-19T09:54:34","date_gmt":"2019-12-19T14:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=20859"},"modified":"2019-12-19T09:54:34","modified_gmt":"2019-12-19T14:54:34","slug":"a-8870-introduced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gunpoliticsny.com\/?p=20859","title":{"rendered":"A-8870 introduced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another bill regulating the sale\/possession of <em>&#8220;unfinished frames or receivers&#8221;<\/em> has been introduced in the <a href=\"https:\/\/nyassembly.gov\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Assembly<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/nyassembly.gov\/mem\/Carrie-Woerner\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Carrie Woerner (D-113)<\/a>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysenate.gov\/legislation\/bills\/2019\/a8870\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">A-8870<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The bill requires sales go through a licensed dealer with background check done on the purchaser and requires the dealer keep records of such transfers.
